Since we've had a lot of Egyptian Arabic materials, I thought I'd throw in this one as well. The more, the merrier.

Gairdner more or less set the standard for studying Egyptian Arabic before 'Abdel-Massih & co. joined in. In many ways, his work represents the apogee of the older scholarly tradition, but as you can see from the format generally and the using of IPA, it also accords to 20th century standards.

Because it brings the learner to a high level, using contextualized sentences and including the English translation, I still view it as one of my three favorites.
The other ones are 'Abdel-Massih et alia, posted here today, and Mokhtar Ahmed in German, but I unfortunately do not have the latter digitized.

Anyway, I do have the Spitta and the Willmore, to which he refers at the start, but I think with what's already posted here, you can't go wrong. It's only too bad that the more advanced ones tend not to have audio. Oh well, there are plenty of movies.

NB As with the Mehri and Soqotri materials, it's clear that including some Bible passages was all the rage in those days. Either just ignore it or remember that there are a lot of Copts in Egypt...and they all speak perfect Egyptian Arabic too.
